Family Christmas Open House

Nana decided she wanted to have a get together with everyone and have a nice dinner and spend time together. She said,

"No presents, just your presence!!"

We ordered a deli sandwich from Dick's and had salads and a wonderful Costco cake!

Look who was able to make it!!

Yup, Good Old Jesse James came over straight from the airport!!

Nana asked for a kiss, right on the lips!!

Bad Week

Poor Nana has had a really bad week. I really can't explain what is going on but all of a sudden she is feeling an incredible amount of pain, almost all the time. It started last wednesday. She's back on some hard pain killers. So she's pretty loopy all the time!! She can't keep the days straight and then gets upset when she gets it wrong.

I just hope it lets up soon.

She enjoyed talking with all that called to wish her a Happy Thanksgiving. Dee came and ate dinner with us, too. What a fun day, for eating and visiting.

Nana Just Can't Wait!!

Nana is one of those people who can't stand to wait for Thanksgiving to come and go before she has to have her tree up! She bugged me for a week and a half before I finally pulled it out of the basement and put it up for her! That was a week and a half ago!! :)

Yesterday I went shopping and I couldn't resist bringing her home one of these poinsettia plants. I knew she would love it. She said don't forget to take a picture! So here it is...

It is huge!! And she loves it, of course! So it's beginning to look a little like Christmas! At least in Nana's room!!
