Peace Rose

Last year, my wonderful primary presidency gave me a rose bush to plant in my yard in honor of my mom passing away.  I decided to plant it in my front yard.  This summer I took some pictures of the blooms.  I recently came across those pics and thought I would share them because I thought they were beautiful!!

My Bloom From Nana

Tomorrow will be one year since my Nana went home. I have been trying really hard to keep it together all day. But as I was cleaning, I went to water the plant that was given to me at her funeral and it has a beautiful white bloom on it. It has never bloomed. I don't know where it came from.

Needless to say, I cannot keep it in any longer.

It's been a year, Nana, but I still think about you everyday.
I miss you. 
I miss you so much everyday.
Sometimes I forget that you aren't with me any more.
It is amazing how much of you are in everything I see and hear. 
Everything reminds me of you.
Even though you aren't here, I still talk to you.  Can you hear me?
